LOL or Love Out Loud is a movement of people who are passionate about taking the love of Jesus out of the seats and into the streets. It is driven by the words of John 15:12, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." (ESV)
Through strategic community partnerships we seek to show our neighbors, our community, and the world the love of Christ by meeting needs and showing up right where people are. We do this through Community Deployments, Meeting Needs, Community Projects & Initiatives and organic opportunities we challenge those who call High Hill Christian Church home to create.
How We Love Out Loud
Community Deployments
Our Community Deployments are about connecting with others in our community. We look for strategic opportunities to support things already happening in our community be resourcing organizations with things like carnival games, inflatables or volunteers and more. If you know about an event happening in our community that you think we should be a part of let us know!
Meeting Needs
We are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. Some of the best ways of showing that love is by meeting the needs of those around us. Meeting a short term need such as school supplies at the start of a school year, donating blood, trimming trees, helping neighbors move, delivering donated appliances, etc. If you know a way to serve the people in your space, we want to leverage our resources and connections to help you accomplish it.
Community Projects & Initatives
We love our community and we want to do everything we can to serve them. We want to be a part of helping community organizations thrive through strategic projects and on-going initiatives like cleaning up our parks, repairing or painting community buildings, planting gardens, building picnic tables, etc. We believe that when our community is supported the church will grow.

For our Spring Love Week we are collecting food items for one of our Community Partners AGAPE Food Pantry in Warrenton. If you would like to donate items from the list below you can drop them off at our Drive Thru Connecting Point located at 852 Booneslick Rd. We began a partnership with Hear For Good Mid-MO in April of 2020 to provide financial and community support to businesses in Warren & Montgomery Counties during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We began a partnership with Missouri Girls Town in January 2020 to serve girls in crisis who need assistance with emotional and behavioral issues. Through this partnership we are working to provide positive role models on the Girls Town campus as well as creating Bible Study and community building opportunities for the girls they serve.

More Than Enough Ministries
We began a partnership with More Than Enough Ministries in January 2020 to serve families in the Foster & Adoption Care space. Though this partnership we are actively meeting needs of local foster and adoptive families in Warren & Montgomery Counties as well as working with another organization called Care Portal to create the infrastructure for other churches and individuals to help in the future.

We began a partnership with River Region Homeschoolers For Christ in September 2019 to provide a safe place for homeschool families in Warren & Montgomery Counties to receive encouragement, support and resources to be successful in the education of their children.

We began a partnership with Pregnancy Options Center of Warren Counties in January 2020 to serve vulnerable families in crisis. Through this partnership we are providing support and helping to meet physical needs of the families in Warren & Montgomery County that they work with.

We Loved Out Loud by providing encouragement cards for residents of St. Andrews Nursing Home in New Florence. We were able to provide cards for every resident.

We had an awesome Halloween night as we Loved Out Loud in our community. We handed out candy in the Werdgis Meadows Neighborhood of Montgomery City!

We had an awesome Halloween night as we Loved Out Loud at an event in our community. We had carnival games, a preschool inflatable and candy setup in addition to all the fun provided by the Jonesburg/High Hill Fire Protection District at the firehouse in High Hill!

Food Fair at High Hill Christian
Thanks to our partnership with St. Louis Area Foodbank we were able to host a Food Fair to provide food to those who need it in our community! We served 96 families and helped provide food for over 310 individuals.

Picnic Table Build for New Florence Parks & Rec.
One of our community partners, New Florence Parks & Rec. was in need of some new picnic tables so the High Hill Christian Church Student Ministry built and delivered four new picnic tables to the park! We worked with another community partner Lacrosse Lumber in Montgomery City who donated all the materials to make this project happen.

Every year we host a Back 2 School BASH to help provide school supplies, haircuts, a free hot lunch, dental screenings, school physicals and other services to families in our community while also providing a fun, celebratory environment to get ready for the upcoming start of the school year. One of our community partners, Youth in Need of Montgomery County hosted their annual Trunk or Treat and they invited us to be a part of it! Our High School Girls small group put a trunk together and handed out candy.

High Hill Park Restoration Phase #1
We believe in creating spaces for our community to gather and the High Hill Lions Park is a great location for that. Our plan is multifaceted but Phase #1 focused on restoring, repairing and replacing the playground equipment and some repairs to the concession building so that families will want to spend time gathering, laughing and playing again at the park. Our leaders brought breakfast and spent time praying with students at the MOCO High School. Several of our students led portions of the prayer and prayer groups. Pastor Robert had the honor of closing the morning out in prayer for our schools, country and nation!
